About the role
We are seeking for State Registered Staff Nurse (Locum) who will have to provide nursing-related support for patients at their homes, including but not limited to vaccinations, health-screening and other nursing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a mindset of continuous improvement and change and will demonstrate curiosity, collaboration and the ability to deal with ambiguity especially in a start-up environment.
A summary of the key responsibilities and requirements are as follows:
- Conduct home visits to provide healthcare services including but not limited to vaccinations and health-screening.
- Perform nursing procedures in a home environment.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patients’ condition and care given.
- Provide accurate evaluation and reports.
- Manage mobile medical services.
- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
About you
- Minimally a Diploma in Nursing with 3 years of related Nursing experience
- Home nursing experience will be ideal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage the needs of a diverse group of patients.
- Comfortable travelling to patient’s homes for visits. Transportation with a driver will be provided.
- Ability to work independently to complete the assigned tasks, whilst contributing to your department’s targets.
- Looking for someone able to commit 2-3 days a week
