Purchasing Cum Sourcing Officer (Marine / Offshore)

Job Description :



To formulate a good vendor management system which comprise of
1. Approved vendor list of Suppliers and Vendors
2. Negotiating good pricing and rebates with suppliers and vendors
3. Negotiating good payment terms from suppliers and vendors


Broaden the supplier’s network in local and global market.

To source for products and services in a timely and effective manner.

Expedite orders and monitoring of delivery to meet our commitment to the clients.

Ensure genuine quality and reliability of every purchase that you have committed.

Bargain and obtain the lowest prices to enable good cost savings for the company.

Always maintain the highest time efficiency and complete every purchase on timely basis.

Maintain good rapport with suppliers and vendors to ensure that they provide us the best in time delivery and serviceability.

Any other duties assigned by the HOD or Management as and when necessary.


Job Requirement:



Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related discipline.

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors) especially for components of RHVAC (Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning).

At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Marine / Offshore industry will be an advantage.

Able to multi-task to meet quotation submission deadlines.

Team player with positive attitude at work.

Independent, resourceful and meticulous.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
