We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Hospital Cleaner to join our team at SingAsia Hospital, a leading medical facility in the region. As a Hospital Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital to provide a safe and healing environment for our patients and staff.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, nursing stations, operating rooms, restrooms, and other areas in the hospital according to established standards and procedures
  • Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, carpets, and upholstery
  • Collect and dispose of garbage and clinical waste in a safe and timely manner
  • Sanitize and restock supplies in patient rooms and common areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in designated storage areas and utility rooms
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of hospital equipment as needed
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe and hygienic environment at all times
  • Report any maintenance or facility issues to the supervisor
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure their needs are met promptly
  • Attend training sessions and workshops as required to enhance job performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Good understanding of infection control practices and protocols
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and the ability to use a tablet for work-related tasks.
