Job responsibilities:
  • Provide medical and scientific leadership for clinical trials and research projects.
  • Develop and review clinical trial protocols, investigator brochures, and other study-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and company policies in all medical activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and biostatistics, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Serve as the primary medical contact for clients, investigators, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide medical oversight and guidance during the conduct of clinical trials, including safety monitoring and data review.
  • Contribute to business development activities by participating in client meetings and providing medical expertise during proposal development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, therapeutic advancements, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Mentor and train clinical and medical staff to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Support the publication of clinical trial results in scientific journals and presentations at industry conferences.

Job requirements:
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, drug development, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract research organization (CRO).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Experience in a specific therapeutic area (e.g., oncology, cardiology, neurology) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in medical writing and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and conferences.
