Medical Information Officer jobs

You will be part of the Medical Informatics Office which oversees the clinical IT systems such as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. You will help to ensure that the policies and procedures related to our EMR system are updated and aligned with both cluster and national policies and guidelines. You will work with clinicians and our IT partners to build, maintain, and enhance the EMR system. You will also help coordinate and ensure the smooth running of activities, work with users to ensure milestones are met, and participate in administrative and audit processes related to the EMR system.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
• Experience in clinical information systems, IT project management and experience in a healthcare environment would be an added advantage
• Possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated and able to function independently
