Institution: National Skin Centre

Responsibilities

  • Perform specimen receipt/ rejection according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform proper transportation, handling, storage of specimens.
  • Process specimens and/or perform laboratory tests according to Operation Guidelines (OPG).
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of analyser/ equipment malfunction.
  • Perform appropriate QC/ calibration.
  • Attend to request for information (e.g. specimen information, laboratory results) and/or material (e.g. blood tubes, slides, blocks).

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attending skills, typing and computer skills. Possess a non judgmental attitude.
