The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science at Nanyang Technological University, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance excellence in biological and biomedical sciences. Join the laboratory of A/P Tan Suet Mien at SBS. We are seeking a Project Officer to contribute to a project focused on delineating the mechanisms by which kindlins regulate cellular processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mammalian cell culture experiments

• Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques

• Carry out protein expression and purification

• Conduct microscopy and flow cytometry analyses

• Perform bio-layer interferometry (BLI) assays

• Assist with data analysis, documentation, and general laboratory activities

Job Requirements

• BSc (Hons) in the field of Biological Sciences.

• Possess good research laboratory experience. Experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and protein expression and purification.

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment

• At least one first-author publication in a reputable peer-reviewed journal
