Full job description

Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on an offshore FPSO/FSO unit in Singapore. Work with an experienced crew, support safe cargo operations, and keep the vessel in good working order.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Carry out deck work including mooring, unmooring, and cargo support duties
    • Perform routine maintenance such as chipping, painting, greasing, and cleaning
    • Stand watch as lookout and helmsman as required
    • Assist with deck equipment, crane operations, and transfer operations
    • Follow safety procedures and assist in drills and emergency tasks
  • Requirements:
    • Valid AB certificate and STCW basic safety training
    • Valid seafarer medical certificate, including offshore fitness
    • Previous experience on offshore vessels, FPSO/FSO preferred
    • Good English communication skills
    • Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
