We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, warm and welcoming, and dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences grounded in care and respect. You will

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our customers, colleagues, and all of our vendors and suppliers
• Make and serve a selection of delicious beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods
• Stay knowledgeable about Alchemist’s current beverage offerings and preparation techniques; continuously cultivating your own curiosity and knowledge through in-house tastings, cuppings, and trainings
• Taste our coffee regularly to ensure quality that upholds our standards, and to develop your palate
• Create a community in our cafes by sharing your joy and knowledge of coffee with our guests; inspire your fellow teammates to do the same
• ⁠Support the team by taking joy in the tasks that keep the cafe running smoothly and effectively — these tasks include cleaning, clearing, washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment stations, and taking out the trash
• Maintain proper health, and food safety according to the food safety guidelines
• Promote a clean and safe workspace

You are

• Proactive and enthusiastic with an avid interest in learning and making coffee
• ⁠Outgoing personality to interact with customers
• Passionate about specialty coffee and creating an inclusive hospitality engagement
• Excited about taking on challenges and possessing a positive attitude
• Possess a valid food hygiene certificate

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
