Full job description

Join our team as a Part-Time Catering & Pantry Assistant in a corporate office environment. If you're reliable, enjoy working in a team, and are comfortable with hands-on duties, we'd love to hear from you!

Location: Raffles Place (Office Setting)
Salary:

  • Pantry Shift: $13.00/hour
  • Catering Shift: $12.50/hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekends & Public Holidays Off)
Weekly Payout: Every Friday

Working Hours

  • Pantry Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Catering Shift: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up breakfast, lunch, tea breaks, and other meal services.
  • Carry and transport food items, beverages, and catering equipment from the kitchen to buffet lines and serving stations.
  • Replenish food, beverages, disposable items, and pantry supplies throughout service.
  • Ensure buffet lines and serving stations are well-stocked, clean, and presentable.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pantry, dining, and serving areas.
  • Clear tables and wipe down tables, countertops, and serving areas after meal service.
  • Carry out light washing of cups, plates, utensils, serving trays, and pantry equipment.
  • Clean and maintain coffee machines, microwaves, water dispensers, and other pantry appliances.
  • Sweep and mop the pantry and dining areas during closing duties.
  • Dispose of rubbish and ensure the pantry is clean, organised, and ready for the next working day.
  • Monitor pantry inventory and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
  • Perform other catering, pantry, and runner-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-month commitment.
  • Able to commit to at least 4 days per week.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (FHC) is required.
  • Comfortable performing light cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Physically fit and able to carry food items and catering equipment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
