Job Summary

Meddy is hiring part-time medical companions in Singapore to support patients during hospital and clinic visits by assisting with mobility, accompanying them through appointments, and updating their families.

Responsibilities

Meet patients at home or clinic as scheduled to begin appointments

Accompany patients through registration, consultation, tests, and pharmacy visits to ensure smooth navigation

Provide mobility assistance such as walking support and wheelchair help to enhance patient safety and comfort

Accurately note doctor’s instructions and relay visit details to clients for clear communication

Update and check in on each assignment to maintain accurate records and client satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience in healthcare or caregiving roles such as nursing, healthcare assistance, caregiving, medical social work, eldercare, or formal healthcare training

Good spoken and written English, to communicate with clinic staff and send client a clear summary after each visit

Ability to communicate in Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or a Chinese dialect to better support patients comfortable in these languages
