As a Preschool Teacher, you should be someone who enjoys working with young children aged from 18 months to 6 years and is passionate about their overall development.

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education - Teaching (with L1 or L2 certification)
• Must have at least 1 year of relevant teaching experience in pre-school setting
• Enjoy working with children and is passionate in educating young children
• Creative, energetic and dynamic
• Strong command of the English language
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team

• Plan, implement and review curriculum within framework of NEL
• Design optimal environment for holistic children development
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social, and emotional development of children
• Implementing the Centre Curriculum and providing an optimal environment where children have the opportunity to develop their potential for intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual growth. The Teacher must be respectful of children and parents in the interest of establishing healthy and professional relationships.
• Prepare materials and set up the classroom learning centres and displays.
• Prepare bi annual evaluation and related documentation for children portfolios
• Establish collaborative partnerships with parents for the children’s development
• Attend all related meetings and participate in team planning sessions
• Maintain a high standard of professional competence through a minimum of 20 hours annual ongoing continuing professional development to align with the skills framework
