Caregivers

Our caregivers provide care and assistance to patients who require acute or ongoing medical treatment, but who can be cared for at home or in a clinic setting rather than in a hospital. The caregiver collaborates with physicians, the clinical team, and nurses to develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and support patients and their families. The role calls for strong assessment, planning, and case-management skills, along with the flexibility to work across diverse home and ambulatory care settings.

Job Details:

• Salary: S$2,300 - S$3,300 (based on experience)
• Office Location: Nankin Row, 3 Pickering Street, 048660
• Working Hours: 4 days a week, 12-hour shifts (including early, late, overnight, weekend, or public holiday shifts when required)
• Flexible scheduling arrangements can be discussed
• Full-time, part-time, and contract positions available
• Transport provided between patient locations and office during working hours

3 Responsibilities:

Patient and Family Engagement:

• Provide appropriate social and emotional support to patients through meaningful activities and interactions.
• Communicate courteously and professionally with patients and their family members.
• Promote patient safety, comfort and well-being.

Professional and Operational Responsibilities:

• Assist nurses with basic patient care and during medical emergencies or crisis situations, as required.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team, and maintain accurate documentation where required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised care environment.
• Comply with infection prevention and control practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing team.

Patient Care and Hygiene:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Attend to the personal hygiene needs of patients who require assistance or are bedbound.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, moving and transporting patients safely.
• Assist with basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients.

Requirements:

• Relevant caregiving training or certification from recognised training providers (e.g. Homage Academy, HMI Institute or Jaga-Me) is an advantage.
• Candidates with prior experience in nursing, healthcare or caregiving are welcome to apply.
• Applicants without formal caregiving qualifications are also welcome, with on-the-job training provided.
• Valid CPR/AED or First Aid certification will be an added advantage.
