This Sr. Manager position is an important role, with broad scope and size, overseeing successful implementationand execution of farm-to-fork food safety and quality programs, policies, and procedures for up to 50 markets.The role collaborates with and leads the Domino’s International team and master franchisees to develop andexecute program changes and new initiatives designed to promote food safety and quality compliance,accountability, and capability development.

When needed, this position provides guidance and/or leads investigations and resolution of restaurant, supplier,and Supply Chain Center (SCC) food safety and quality issues. In collaboration with others, the role establishes,prioritizes, and executes other strategic and continuous improvement projects.

This role also collaborates closely with the restaurant, SCC, and product quality/technical services teams to refinestandards and develop training that is meaningful to the International FSQA mission.

Main responsibilities

  • Oversees franchisees accountabilities for meeting Domino’s food safety standards across all key pillarsincluding suppliers, SCC’s and stores through management and maintenance of records related to theDomino’s Food Safety Escalation & Governance policy.
  • Identifies gaps in current programs and leads new programs with appropriate change managementacross regional team. Leads complex projects cross functionally and with franchisees.
  • Effectively communicates with and influences DPZ/DPI teams and with master franchisees. Collaborateswith DPZ FSQA, DPI Directors and Managers and Franchisees to align accountability, clarity, priorities,timelines, and decisions.
  • Supports or leads planning and execution of farm-to-fork audit program. Summarizes, trends, andcommunicates results to drive actionable insights and improvement areas.
  • Provides key contributions to standard and audit development for international business. Researches and makes recommendations on emerging or currently undefined FSQA topics for international markets. Career Framework
  • Builds franchisee risk reduction capability by developing and implementing training and continuous improvement programs.
  • Oversees qualification of core ingredients and variance approvals. Leads and supports new products and Supplier development to enable the company’s strategy for international franchisee markets.
  • Collaborates with business team to ensure projects are appropriately prioritized and executed withinbusiness-relevant timelines.
  • As needed, assists project teams on subjects such as premarket regulatory requirements, export and labeling requirements, or other QA related compliance issues
  • Identifies and builds partnerships with suppliers capable of supporting Dominos Product Strategy for new product roll outs.
  • Acts as the knowledge hub for existing and emerging regulations, standards, and guidance documents &build capability of QA team members around key standards & regulations
  • As appropriate, manages the team to perform against objectives and key results that tie to departmentand company priorities. Provides clear accountability and support to direct report(s). Helps develop team member skills and competencies.
  • As appropriate, helps build department employee engagement scores year over year. Acts as coach tosupport team member learning and professional growth.

Job requirements

  • BS degree, preferred in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or related area.
  • 7+ years’ experience working in FSQA, regulatory compliance, standards, auditing and/or food manufacturing Ability and comfort to make “grey area” decisions with varying levels of information
  • Knowledgeable and fluent in restaurant and food manufacturing and safety standards,auditing schemes and regulations
  • Understanding of or proven ability to learn restaurant and food manufacturing, distribution, andstore safety, quality and regulatory environment and translate to actionable standards
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Able to move in fast paced and dynamic environment. Superior project management skills include the ability to prioritize themselves and their team,manage complexity, create action assignments, verify completion of tasks and follow up
