Job Summary

The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high service standards, supervising staff, and supporting overall business performance. This role ensures smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination while maintaining quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Supervise daily F&B operations to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene standards, and service guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.

2. Team Supervision & Training

  • Lead, schedule, and supervise service crew and kitchen support staff.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new hires.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching when necessary.
  • Ensure proper manpower allocation during peak and off-peak periods.

3. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Oversee stock levels and coordinate ordering of supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and minimize wastage.
  • Monitor portion control and ensure adherence to cost guidelines.

4. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
  • Handle cash management, POS reconciliation, and closing procedures.
  • Assist in payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave monitoring.

5. Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in F&B operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
