We are looking for passionate freelance Associate Trainers with professional experience in the culinary, food and beverage, tourism, or hospitality industries to conduct school-based programmes for students of different ages.

Professionals with full-time employment are welcome to apply, as assignments are offered on a freelance and project basis.

Your Role

As an Associate Trainer, you will:

• Conduct engaging culinary, F&B, tourism, or hospitality programmes in schools
• Facilitate classes for small or large groups across different age levels
• Explain industry concepts in a clear, practical, and age-appropriate manner
• Conduct demonstrations and guide students through hands-on activities
• Share real-world industry knowledge, career experiences, and professional insights
• Use appropriate teaching materials, equipment, and learning resources
• Follow and adapt prepared lesson plans and programme materials where necessary
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism
• Monitor students’ participation and learning progress
• Provide appropriate feedback to teachers and programme coordinators
• Represent Mastereign professionally when engaging schools, teachers, and students

Requirements

Applicants should:

• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold relevant qualifications in their area of expertise, preferably a diploma or higher
• Have at least two years of relevant professional or industry experience
• Have valid authorisation to work in Singapore
• Be passionate about sharing industry knowledge with students
• Be comfortable engaging students of different ages and group sizes
• Be confident, cheerful, patient, and able to communicate clearly
• Be self-driven, energetic, resourceful, and responsible
• Be able to project a strong and positive professional image
• Be willing to follow programme requirements, safety procedures, and lesson guidelines
• Be available for assignments during school hours on weekdays

Experience conducting workshops, demonstrations, training sessions, or school programmes will be an advantage.

MOE Instructor Registration

Applicants must be registered as instructors with the Ministry of Education before deployment to applicable school programmes.

Applicants who are not yet registered may still apply. We can provide guidance and assistance with the registration process, subject to eligibility and prevailing MOE requirements.

Trainer Engagement Details

• Freelance and project-based assignments
• Suitable for professionals with full-time employment
• Sessions are generally conducted during school hours on weekdays
• Minimum commitment of approximately 15 hours per project
• Engagements are offered based on programme requirements, expertise, location, and availability

Trainer Fees

Trainer fees generally range from:

S$40 to S$50 per hour

The final rate may vary depending on the programme, required qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and project requirements.
