Job Summary

The Technical Customer Engineer for Samsung’s Memory division acts as the key technical liaison between customers and headquarters, providing expert support in DRAM product validation, failure analysis, and issue resolution throughout product development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualification testing on memory products to identify failures and determine root causes related to product qualification and field issues
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively between customers and Samsung headquarters to ensure clear understanding and resolution
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships through regular customer visits and collaboration on quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate actively in Quarterly Technical Reviews (QTR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to support product and business performance discussions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in DRAM development, testing, or failure analysis
  • Technical expertise in memory products with practical experience in system design, validation, and troubleshooting across multi-disciplinary systems
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Customer Service, or customer-facing technical support within the semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Understanding of the memory ecosystem and market landscape across ASEAN regions
