1. Driving Range Operations

• Carry out manual collection and retrieval of driving range golf balls.
• Operate the gator vehicle for golf ball collection and transfer operations.
• Wash and sort golf balls for operational use.
• Top up golf balls into the dispensing machines and ensure sufficient ball availability at all times.
• Ensure the driving range areas, ball wash area and surrounding operational areas are kept clean, safe and tidy.
• Monitor and report any defects or operational issues relating to the driving range equipment and facilities.

2. Changing Room &Swimming Pool Operations

• Issue locker keys and towels to members and guests based on flight schedules and operational requirements.
• Ensure all changing room, toilet and shower facilities are functioning properly and kept clean and dry at all times.
• Ensure lockers are checked, cleared and cleaned after use.
• Ensure toiletries and related supplies are sufficiently topped up at all times.
• Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties at the swimming pool and surrounding areas.
• Ensure pavilion lighting and fans are functioning properly and report any defects immediately.
• Check and ensure all swimming pool-related equipment such as pool lighting, play area switches and jacuzzi systems are operating properly.
• Monitor the swimming pool water condition and ensure the pool pump system is functioning normally. Any abnormalities or defects are to be reported immediately.
• Report any maintenance defects or safety concerns promptly.

3. Gym Operations

• Assist with the daily opening of the gym facilities.
• Ensure the gym air-conditioning and gym equipment are functioning properly and report any defects promptly.
• Issue gym towels to members and guests where required.
• Conduct periodic checks around the gym to ensure the facilities are clean, safe and ready for member usage at all times.

4. Mahjong Room Operations

• Assist in the management and coordination of Mahjong room bookings.
• Ensure the Mahjong rooms are properly maintained, clean and operationally ready for usage.
• Monitor the condition of the rooms and report any maintenance or operational issues.

5. General Operations

• Assist members and guests where required in a professional and courteous manner.

6. Others

• Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned.
• Work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays based on operational requirements.

Our Milestones:

• 1968: Our journey began with the opening of a nine-hole golf course by then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
• 1977: A full 18-hole golf course was unveiled by Dr. Goh Keng Swee.
• 1985: The first local SAF Officer, then-Chief of General Staff (CGS) MG Winston Choo, was elected as Club President.
• 1990: We underwent a major refurbishment, introducing a two-storey clubhouse, a 30-metre swimming pool, and various other facilities.
• 1994: Former Minister for Defence and Labour, Dr. Lee Boon Yang, opened our new clubhouse.
• 2002: Then Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tony Tan opened the new driving range and recreation centre, launching the inaugural Sembawang Open.
• 2010-2013: We embarked on a significant refurbishment journey, culminating in the unveiling of a brand new clubhouse and a full 18-hole golf course.
• 2024: We are excited to announce a major renovation of our golf course scheduled for Q4.
