Singapore Java Full Stack Developer jobs

The role requires someone with extensive business knowledge, analytical and relationship skills, strategic mindset, and program management discipline to help drive the build-out of the function as well as support the broader department and organization objectives.

This is a challenging role requiring the successful individual to partner, coordinate and drives progress across global teams and different business areas as well as partner closely with key stakeholders and colleagues around the firm. The successful candidate will:

• Have hands-on approach to work and 'can-do' attitude to start and finish ideas execution
• Enjoy simplifying complex problems, tackling interesting and meaningful challenges
• Care and know the importance to ship high quality and clean code
• Excellent communicator, self-driven and entrepreneurial with a strong sense of ownership
• Fast learner and have interests to learn new technology stacks / frameworks as needed
• Work hands-on across the entire software stack comfortably
• Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and solutioning using new methodologies and/or technologies

In this role you will:

• Partner with product managers to understand the product vision, bring the vision alive through the creation of elegant and robust solution
• Interpret the rationale, logic and data behind business requirements provided.
• Design and develop scalable solutions (client-side and server-side) to meet business requirements.
• Ensure high code quality, high test coverage, with clean coding practices.
• Perform technical gaps analysis, vulnerability remediation and performance improvement.
• Application test automation and performance tuning
• Produce technical documentation from architecture design to technical specification
• Be a technical leader and valued contributor in an autonomous, cross-functional agile team to propose technical solution and recommendation

Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, ORM Technologies, Junit or other test frameworks.
• At least 5 years of experienced in web technologies such as HTML5, REST API, JavaScript framework such as Angular.
• Strong SQL/RDBMS skills, able to design and optimise database schemas.
• Extensive experience of setting up DevOps stack of tools, such as Git, CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, Cucumber etc.
• Extensive experience in Test Automation with Selenium and Cucumber
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
