Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and talented analyst intern to join our M&A advisory practice. This professional will have broad responsibility for execution of transactions. The candidate will possess strong analytical and financial skills and be able to conduct research, produce marketing materials, develop financial models, and communicate effectively with clients under the supervision of senior members of the team.

The role involves:

• Working on sell-side deals in all stages of execution. You will be actively involved in execution of M&A deals with a Southeast Asian angle.

• Producing and analysing financial models, assessing commercial data and assumptions to derive appropriate financial forecasts.

• Supporting business development initiatives, including the preparation of proposals, market research, industry & company profiles.

• Building and maintaining client relationships.
  

The ideal candidate should have:

• Currently enrolling in a Bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

• Excellent academic background with good understanding of corporate finance

• Possess strong quantitative skills with the ability to understand financial statements and build three statement financial models in Excel

• Strong interest in mergers and acquisitions - buy, sell, cross border acquisitions

• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Strong capability to manage multiple projects.
