Position: Temp Research Assistant (Part-Time)

Department: Nursing Administration

Job Description:
To provide support in funded research project(s), ensuring scientific rigour and operational feasibility across study process.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate participant recruitment and data collection while monitoring response rates. Clean and code data for statistical analysis, prepare datasets, and maintain data quality standards throughout collection.
Coordinate and schedule Interview and focus group discussions, managing participant logistics and documentation. Transcribe audio recordings and prepare transcripts for thematic and realist analysis.
Maintain secure records of consent forms, anonymised data, and audit trails for analysis. Assist with progress reports, research logs, and ethics compliance documentation.
Liaise with internal stakeholders for access, scheduling, and venue/IT setup. Support preparation of study materials.

Requirements:
Competency

Strong organisational and communication skills
Understanding of research ethics and confidentiality requirements
Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities
Experience with qualitative research methods preferred
Familiarity with statistical software advantageous

Educational and Professional Requirements

Diploma/ Degree holder in relevant field (social sciences, psychology, public health, or related)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
