Healthcare Transcriber (Freelance / Project-Based)

We are seeking multilingual transcribers to support an upcoming healthcare research project. In this role, you will accurately transcribe interview audio recordings from spoken English, Mandarin, Malay, Hokkien, or Cantonese into written English.

Training and transcription guidelines will be provided before the project begins.

Pay Rate: $140 per completed 1 hour of audio transcribed, payment will be made upon completion and approval of submitted transcripts. Pro rated to the nearest minute for payment.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe interview audio recordings word for word into English. Transcriber must ensure accuracy
• Follow the required transcript formatting and template.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned recordings.
• Maintain confidentiality of all data and materials.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Mandarin/Malay/Hokkien/ Cantonese (native or fluent) and English.
• Ability to follow transcription rules and formatting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to commit to deadlines.
• Prior transcription experience is preferred but not required.
