About Trust & Safety
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.

About the team
The Search Operation team focuses on providing operational support for TikTok's search business. Specifically, we are responsible for investigating TikTok's resources, understanding user demands, and optimizing search result quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage vertical search requests, optimize project planning, and establish strategy evaluation and labeling standards. Accurately analyze cases to deeply understand user search intent. Define clear user needs and scenarios through various research methods, and combine operational strategies to enhance the vertical search user experience and mindset.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the current situation by conducting continuous data analysis to identify existing problems and propose solutions. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to iterate on vertical search results, and work with stakeholders to successfully implement the project.
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments, identifying changes and opportunities in a timely manner. Combine these insights with practical strategies to plan and execute product enhancements, ensuring that quality and performance metrics consistently remain at the forefront.
• Review and refine existing methodologies to capture best practices, lessons learned, and effective strategies, ensuring continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and optimize all aspects of product development and operations, maintaining streamlined, efficient processes for sustained excellence

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a preference for previous experience in product operations or vertical operations. Responsible for coordinating large-scale projects within the category and possessing more than 3 years of relevant work and team management experience.
• Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Demonstrate strong project management skills, including process construction and execution. Have experience independently managing projects, with robust cross-team collaboration and communication abilities that ensure efficient coordination, timely delivery, and continuous optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a solid degree of data analysis capability, with the ability to delve deeply into business operations to identify and address existing issues. Capable of driving the resolution of challenging problems or continuous enhancements that significantly improve core performance indicators.
• Skilled in cross-departmental communication and experienced in fostering continuous collaboration across departments to advance business processes. Able to express ideas clearly and smoothly, with a strong operational acumen.
