We are recruiting for a Full-Time Barista position with a well-established specialty coffee brand expanding into Singapore. The role focuses on coffee and beverage preparation, customer service, cashiering and day-to-day store operations. This position is suitable for candidates with at least 1 year of Barista, Café, Beverage or F&B experience, with hands-on coffee machine operation and basic latte art skills preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare coffee and other beverages according to brand and store operating standards
  • Operate coffee machines independently and maintain consistent beverage quality
  • Produce coffee beverages with appropriate presentation and basic latte art
  • Provide warm, professional and efficient customer service
  • Take customer orders and explain products when required
  • Respond to basic customer enquiries and simple service issues
  • Support product recommendations and membership promotion
  • Handle cashiering and other front-of-house responsibilities
  • Complete assigned opening, closing and daily shift duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the customer area, bar, storage area and back-of-house
  • Follow food-safety, hygiene and store operating standards
  • Support trainee and junior baristas in improving coffee-making and service skills
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and store team to complete daily operational tasks and business targets
  • Support other store-related duties when required

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in coffee, beverage, café or F&B environments
  • Able to operate coffee machines independently
  • Basic coffee preparation and latte art capability
  • Able to communicate effectively in English for daily customer service, order taking, product explanation and basic enquiries
  • Additional language skills may be useful when supporting a diverse customer base
  • Strong customer-service mindset
  • Friendly, professional and presentable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Responsible and comfortable working in a fast-paced store environment
  • Able to work rotating shifts according to store operational requirements
  • Experience with established coffee, beverage, tea or F&B chains is preferred
  • Experience with cashiering, store opening/closing, membership promotion or broader store operations is an advantage
  • Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore without requiring employer sponsorship for a new work pass
