WEDDING & EVENT COORDINATORS - PART-TIME, WEEKENDS

Alangkaar is a Singapore wedding and events company. We run Indian, Malay, Chinese and multicultural weddings, ROMs, engagements, birthdays and corporate events, with our own decor, stage, lighting and sound. We have many events from now to December and need coordinators who own the event day from start to finish.

THE JOB - END TO END, EVERY EVENT

1. Before the day: read the run sheet, confirm timings with the couple, our team and all vendors

2. Load-in: be on site with our crew (our lorry or a Lalamove van we arrange), check every item arrives and the setup matches the approved design

3. Vendors: check in decor, catering, photo/video, DJ, makeup and cars, and make sure everyone is on time

4. Event: be the couple's and family's point of contact, run the programme (entrances, ceremony, speeches, cake, photo moments) and keep everything on schedule

5. Fix problems on the spot before the client notices

6. Teardown: sign off the pack-down, check nothing is left or damaged, and report to the office

Whatever the hours, the day is done only when the client is happy and everything is settled.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Friendly, confident and organised, good with families and guests

- Available on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and some evenings

- Event, wedding, hospitality or F&B experience is a plus - we train you

- Students and recent graduates welcome

- Tamil, Malay, Hindi or Mandarin speakers are an advantage

PAY

- S$150 per event day (up to 12 hours, load-in to teardown)

- S$15 per hour for every hour beyond 12

- Meals on event days. Regular weekend work through the wedding season, with a path to lead coordinator
