Location: Sebarok Island (Offshore)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant In-House Security Personnel to support security operations at our offshore facility on Sebarok Island. The role requires maintaining strict access control and ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and infrastructure in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform access control duties for all personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering/leaving the facility
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including restricted and high-risk areas
  • Monitor CCTV and security systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities
  • Enforce site security protocols and safety regulations at all times
  • Handle and report security incidents, emergencies, and breaches promptly
  • Maintain accurate logbooks, visitor records, and incident reports
  • Carry out bag checks and screening procedures when required
  • Assist in emergency response situations (e.g. fire, evacuation, oil & gas safety alerts)
  • Liaise with site management and relevant authorities when necessary

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid PLRD Security Officer Licence (compulsory)
  • Comfortable working in an offshore environment (Sebarok Island)
  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties
  • Good communication and observation skills
  • Prior experience in industrial / oil & gas / offshore security is an advantage
