Description


As a Design Consultant at Foster + Partners, you’ll be an integral part of the design team, contributing to the development of ambitious architectural projects from concept through delivery. Working closely with Project Leaders and Architects, you’ll help translate design intent into high-quality drawings, models and design outputs within a collaborative, design-driven studio environment.


This role is ideal if you want to:


  • Be hands-on in the design development of complex, high-profile projects.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Develop and test design ideas through drawings, models and visualisations.
  • Gain exposure to client liaison, site analysis and construction stages.
  • Build and evidence your professional experience toward RIBA or equivalent accreditation.

What you will bring to the team:


  • Strong design input across drawings, models and design documentation.
  • A thoughtful, proactive approach to developing and communicating design ideas.
  • The ability to support site analysis, feasibility studies and design options.
  • Collaboration with senior team members while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • A strong design portfolio demonstrating design understanding and capability.
  • Experience using a range of media to develop and communicate design ideas.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
